Our Mission Statement: Macon Middle School's mission is to serve the community by providing an environment conducive to academic excellence.  We strive to inspire each child to achieve according to ability by utilizing various teaching and learning strategies.  Our aim is to help produce responsible citizens who will always be eager learners.  Our goal is to have the support of all stake holders in helping us develop our greatest natural resource - our children.

Our location: Macon Middle School is located in Franklin, North Carolina and is nestled among the picturesque Great Smoky Mountains.  The awe inspiring rural setting is a conducive environment for learning.  Along with the school building itself, the campus includes a top-notch sports complex including a track/soccer field, softball field and baseball field.  Parrish Memorial Park is available for classes to have picnics and take walks along the nature trail.  Our school has over 900 students and has been in existence since 1977.  We have over 100 employees, all dedicated to the task of educating and nurturing children.
